Tat Saleuy, Houaphan Province, Laos
In Houaphan Province, a stunning waterfall is a refuge for Lao people during the summer months. The water pours down over a rockface, which can be slippery. There is a trail nearby which leads you to the top, if you wish. Nearby, vendors sell refreshments as well as locally made textiles, which are beautiful works of art and make great souvenirs

Description

A short, easy walk on a flat trail from Road 6 leads to this treelined waterfall that drops some 100 meters, as it cascades over rock slabs to a final leap into a relaxing pool and on to a calm stream. A trail alongside the falls takes the adventurous to the top. Vendors on Saleuy Village’s roadside sell locallymade textiles
